My Name is Lubi Kocheleva, and I am a freelance Web & Graphic Designer based in the Channel Islands, UK.
I have started my creative journey in the video industry, traveling around the globe, filming underwater, and teaching others to film & photograph the underwater world. As my work demanded other creative input such as advertising, self-promotion and web development, I have began to explore these avenues and have found a new passion for web and graphic design.
This new direction has enabled me to finally return to Europe and set up a studio on dry land, something I would not think possible for many years. Guernsey, my new home is a perfect combination of sea and civilization, beach culture and progress & technology, things that I adore equally and finally no longer need to sacrifice one for another.
My main scope of work at the moment is web design for small to medium sized businesses and charities of my choice. My skills include web development, HTML5, CSS3, WordPress Content Management System, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Premiere, and Final Cut Pro. I still occasionally take on freelance underwater camera work, and some video and photography work for promotional web content.
Other than that, I love spending my free time learning new skills, new formats, anything new! I always like to help worthy causes and charities and donate or discount my services where possible.
